Fund Allocation Strategy

Ikigai Catalyst Fund will be (2027) an early/mid-stage Venture Fund that completes the 4-stage investment strategy of Ikigai. 

The Catalyst Fund will primarily invest in the A and/or B Rounds of firms that come out of Ikigai Healthcare Fund I, II, and III but also will make some investments in high-potential, high-growth firms coming out of the portfolios of our “Partner” Venture Funds. The focus is almost exclusively on healthcare technology and tech-enabled services and to provide both direct investment from the Catalyst Fund as well as syndicating large rounds in combination with our “Venture Partners”.

We believe that the “catalytic agent effect” of our involvement comes from the combination of providing both significant funding and significant senior expertise at the right time and in the right amount.

Our goal? To help build and support gamechangers that positively impact healthcare overall and that make a difference in improving the lives of as many people as possible.
